The Opening Note

A written introduction by email for people who’d rather begin the conversation in writing. Tell me a little about where you are and what you’re considering, and I’ll write back within three business days with a few honest observations. Complimentary. One exchange.

The Clarity Session

A single 60–75 minute conversation for people who are thinking about a move but haven’t yet found the words for what they’re looking for. We talk through where you are, what you’re moving toward, and what kind of place might actually fit. You leave with direction. $250, no commitment required.

Place Alignment Advisory

Deeper advisory work for people who are serious about finding the right place to land. Over several exploratory sessions, I map your values, lifestyle, and non-negotiables to specific towns, communities, and landscapes across Western NC and Upstate SC. You’ll receive customized recommendations and self-guided tours of places that fit who you are — a way to narrow your options before you ever commit to a search.

Along the way, I’ll share a curated reading list shaped to your interests, make introductions to community members and local voices where it serves you, and build a trial visit itinerary designed around the places you’re considering — not a generic tour, but a weekend (or longer) shaped around the specific questions you’re trying to answer.

The work ends with a Place Profile: a written document that captures what you’ve learned and what you’re looking for, designed to carry you into the next phase with clarity.

Three to four sessions over six to eight weeks. Choose your format for each session — video call, phone, or written exchange. $1,200.
